Hodduck, Korean styled pancake
Hodduk is a type of Korean-styled pancake. Americans eat pancakes with maple syrup on top of it. However, Hodduk is filled with sweet syrup made from cinnamon, brown sugar, and peanuts.
It's the perfect snack when you're between meals. Every Korean remembers eating hodduk as a child.
Children love it, but adults like it too as they can get a taste of their childhooo.
It's not difficult to come across street vendors that sell hodduck on the streets of korea.
Hot off the grill, it is served folded in a paper cup or stuffed between some thin cardboard.
The key to eating hodduck is to make sure you don't burn your tongue when the hot filling starts to drip out. When the weatehr gets cold, be sure to search for those hodduck carts scattedred around in Korea.
